All orders received by midnight on 17 December 2023 will be processed for Christmas week delivery. Orders received after this point will next be processed on 2nd January for delivery the week ending 7 January 2024.
Orders Containing Fresh Meat Products
Due to the perishable nature of Fresh Meat Products please take some time to read the delivery indications below.
All our Fresh Meat Products are delivered by DHL on a 24-48 hour delivery service. So once they've collected your parcel from us it should be with you within 48 hours.
In order to get the Meat to you Fresh we use Ice Packs and Insulated Foil Packaging designed to keep the temperature of the Meat suitably cool.
Due to the logistics around Fresh Meat Delivery all orders received after 11:00am on a Friday will be processed the following Tuesday when we open for business. Should you wish to have Meat in time for the weekend please do try order on or before a Wednesday.
Please only place an order if you are going to be able to receive the parcel. DHL may try to deliver to your neighbour if you're not around but it's not guaranteed, and your order may be returned to the depot.
Orders containing Fresh meat that are placed between Thursdays at noon and Fridays by 11am will be sent on a Saturday Delivery service, subject to availability of stock. Please note that DHL does not guarantee they will deliver all parcels by the Saturday so there is a risk that your parcel will be delivered on a Monday. Ordering in this window is entirely at your own risk.
Orders Containing Chips/Crisps and Soft Packaged Goods
Please note that the delivery cycle is a risk to soft packaged goods such as chips, cereals or other soft packaged goods. This risk is elevated when these goods are selected alongside heavy items. Please be advised that orders of these goods are at your own risk due to the fact that there are no guaranteed packaging options to prevent damage to the these soft packaged goods. Should you wish to include chips or cereals please be advised there is a marginal risk of the goods being crushed or packets opening. This is increased if heavy/hard items are part of the same order.
Standard Delivery Fees are as follows;
For orders up to £50, it's £6.99,
For orders between £50 and £100, it's £4.99, and
For Orders over £100 it's FREE.
For Standard Delivery please allow 3-5 working days. Please note that deliveries placed over the weekend are processed on Tuesday's which is the reason for the indication of 3-5 days. Delivery times are usually shorter but we don't want to overcommit and disappoint our customers.
Isle of Man, Guernsey and other Zone C and D locations
Regrettably we do not deliver to the Channel Islands or Northern Ireland.
For Zone C & D postcodes in Scotland we charge a higher delivery fee of £8.99 to reflect the rates that DHL charges us for these destinations (presently £12.00). These post codes are:
Zone C: AB31 to AB38, AB40 to AB56, IV1 to IV28, IV30 to IV32, IV36 to IV40, IV52 to IV54, IV63, KW1 to KW14, PA21 to PA38, PH4 to PH41, PH49 to PH50
Zone D: HS, IV41 to 49, IV51, IV55, IV56, KA27, KA28, KW15 to KW17, PA20, PA41 to PA49, PA60 to PA78, PH42 to PH44, ZE.
Please select your shipping rate based on your post code as shown here. Should you select the incorrect rate we will contact you to take payment of the appropriate fee. Alternatively, we may reduce your loyalty points in line with shipping owed as appropriate.
Please note the following postcodes that we deliver to in Scotland in Zones A & B. These are charged on our UK Mainland rate.

Please be aware that your specification on Biltong, Drywors or Snapsticks can impact the delivery time. This is due to the fact these products require drying time to reach your specification. We usually have lots of stock but the popularity of these items can lead to short periods of lag so please allow for 5 days with these products as they may require extra drying time. Stock is usually available so we expect to process these items far quicker on the majority of orders, but if it's a little longer we promise it's worth the wait!
If an item is unavailable for any reason we will call you and offer an alternative or refund.
Biltong, Drywors and Chilli Sticks
Please be aware that we match the condition of these products as closely as possible to our assessment of 'wet, medium and dry'. We appreciate that these classifications are not an exact science and that people have many varying interpretations of each. Unfortunately we are not able to guarantee that our definition is the same as yours, however ours is aggregated across the thousands of orders we process and we hope you'll find it to your liking. Unless you like it as wet as carpaccio, or as dry as dust - you'll probably be happy with our categories.
**We do not replace these products on the basis of condition if you've opened the bag.** In order to receive a refund the products must be returned at buyers expense.
