Orders Containing Fresh Meat Products
Due to the perishable nature of Fresh Meat Products please take some time to read the delivery indications below.
All our Fresh Meat Products are delivered by DHL on a 24-48 hour delivery service. So once they've collected your parcel from us it should be with you within 48 hours.
In order to get the Meat to you Fresh we use Ice Packs and Insulated Foil Packaging designed to keep the temperature of the Meat suitably cool.
Due to the logistics around Fresh Meat Delivery all orders received after 11:00am on a Friday will be processed the following Tuesday when we open for business. Should you wish to have Meat in time for the weekend please do try order on or before a Wednesday.
Please only place an order if you are going to be able to receive the parcel. DHL may try to deliver to your neighbour if you're not around but it's not guaranteed, and your order may be returned to the depot.
Standard Delivery Fees are as follows;
For orders up to £40, it's £6.99,
For orders between £40 and £80, it's £3.99, and
For Orders over £80 it's FREE.
Covid has impacted less than 10 % of deliveries. However, we are advised by DHL that there are delays in some locations due to staffing issues that arise out of Covid, and that in rare instances they are taking an extra couple of days more than the normal indication below. We thank you for your understanding.
For Standard Delivery please allow 3-5 working days. Please note that deliveries placed over the weekend are processed on Tuesday's which is the reason for the indication of 3-5 days. Delivery times are usually shorter but we don't want to overcommit and disappoint our customers.
Please be aware that your specification on Biltong, Drywors or Snapticks can impact the delivery time. This is due to the fact these products require drying time to reach your specification. We usually have lots of stock but the popularity of these items can lead to short periods of lag so please allow for 5 days with these products as they may require extra drying time. Stock is usually available so we expect to process these items far quicker on the majority of orders, but if it's a little longer we promise it's worth the wait!
If an item is unavailable for any reason we will call you and offer an alternative or refund.
Christmas and New Year's Deliveries
Please allow extra time for deliveries during the holiday season. Due to Covid the postal services are under immense pressure and this is increasing delivery times in some cases. We thank you for your understanding at this time.
